Tokyo Seitoku Junior High school, which is part of a comprehensive school, encompassing all levels of education from junior high school through graduate school, as well as a kindergarten, will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its founding in 2025. Approaching our centennial, we created the Tokyo Seitoku Vision 100, a document to guide our school to this anniversary, and beyond.
Tokyo Seitoku is built on its founding principle -- to cultivate people of virtue -- and five educational goals: to foster moral character, intelligence, physical health, a spirit of diligence, and the courage to act. For the 10 years leading up to our centennial, we have made our goal to educate “global citizens, who hold the Seitoku spirit in their hearts.”
In Tokyo Seitoku Junior High school’s curriculum, technology is an indispensable tool in teaching problem solving and critical thinking skills. Each student has their own iPad, and uses the Internet, and various applications, to deepen their learning experience.
